5 MHz to 834 MHz Variable Cable Slope Equalizer
The QPC7331 from Qorvo is a Variable Cable Slope Equalizer that operates from 5 to 834 MHz. It uses an SOI attenuator to provide an inverse frequency response to compensate for frequency-dependent cable loss. This variable slope equaliser is ideal for CATV amplifiers and transmission systems. It has an insertion loss of less than 2.5 dB and an attenuation slope range of 1.3 to 18 dB.
The QPC7331 can handle up to 27 dBm of RF input power and has a return loss of -18 dB (input) & -16 dB (output). This equalizer requires a DC supply of 5 V and consumes 3 mA of current. It is available in a 14-Pin MCM package measuring 6.0 x 6.0 x 1.375 mm.
