LO Amplifier Optimized for Marki Mixers

Our quest to eradicate phase noise continues with the new APM-6849 LO amplifier, available as bare die or connectorized module. To enable the next generation of noise-sensitive applications including radar, wireless chipset testing, and frequency sources we designed the APM-6849 to achieve a low additive phase noise of -170dBc/Hz at 10kHz offset. Featuring positive-only bias and requiring no external bias tees or power sequencing, this GaAs MMIC provides high output power from 2 to 29 GHz while only drawing 23mA at 5V. The APM-6849 is a single stage HBT design with 11dB of small-signal gain and +21dBm typical saturated output power, ideal for driving our L, H, and S-diode high linearity mixers. If your application requires more gain take a look at our new APM-6848, a dual-stage low phase noise amplifier with 23dB gain and the same +21dBm Psat. Email us today for samples.
