New Marki Baluns Enable the Future of High Frequency Converters
Highest Frequency SMT Balun Enables Tomorrow’s ADC Technology Today

Every year analog to digital converter (ADC) manufacturers push analog bandwidths even higher, and at Marki Microwave we like to stay one (or two!) steps ahead with our industry-leading balun designs. With high performance bandwidth from 14 to 45 GHz, the new MBAL-1445SM high isolation balun provides exceptional phase and amplitude balance and over 15dB of isolation. Wide bandwidth baluns are also key components in the design of push-pull amplifiers for improved even-harmonic performance, as well as for mmwave antenna design. The MBAL-1445SM MMIC balun is offered in a 4x4mm QFN surface-mount package and a connectorized evaluation fixture. A wire-bondable bare die version, MBAL-1440CH, is also available.

High Performance 10MHz to 12 GHz Balun with 55% Reduced Footprint

The new BAL-0012SSG takes our hand-assembled wire-wound baluns to a whole new level. The SSG package is 55% smaller than our popular SMG series of high performance baluns, enabling our customers to process more ADC and DAC channels without sacrificing performance from using alternative solutions. We didn’t stop there. The BAL-0012SSG also extends the upper frequency of our wire-wound baluns to 12 GHz, providing exceptional phase and amplitude balance from 10 MHz to 12 GHz. For years Marki Microwave has been the balun of choice by leading ADC and DAC manufacturers to showcase the full bandwidth and performance of their products. Don’t compromise on performance.
