‘SwitchBot’ from WonderLabs employs Nordic’s nRF51822 and nRF52832 SoCs for wireless activation of switches and buttons via smartphone, or, for remote operation, via SwitchLink gateway
Nordic Semiconductor today announces that smart home robotics company, WonderLabs, Inc., has launched ‘SwitchBot’, a mechanical device for wirelessly controlling switches and buttons in the home, and ‘SwitchLink’, a Bluetooth® low energy “gateway” enabling remote operation of SwitchBot. SwitchBot employs Nordic’s multiple award-winning nRF51822 Bluetooth low energy System-on-Chip (SoC) while SwitchLink is powered by the nRF52832 SoC.
