The MAYA-W1 Series from u-blox are Dual-band Wi-Fi 4 and Bluetooth 5 Combo Modules that are designed specifically for industrial applications. These modules support Wi-Fi 4 (802.11a/b/g/n) standard and deliver up to 150 Mbit/s data throughput. They deliver an output power of 18 dBm for Wi-Fi and 10 dBm for Bluetooth. These modules support both Bluetooth classic and Bluetooth Low Energy 5 standards. They have a 40 MHz channel-width and can be used in Access-points, Stations, and Wi-Fi direct (combinations) modes. These modules are based on NXP’s IW416 multi-radio chipset and are encrypted with WPA3, WPA2, TKIP/WPA, WEP (64/128 bit), WAPI, and AES security standards.

The MAYA-W1 Series modules require a DC supply of 3-3.6 V and have UART, PCM, I2S, and SDIO interfaces. These modules are available in a 76-pin LGA package that measures 10.4 x 14.3 x 2.5 mm and are ideal for industrial automation and smart manufacturing, EV charging infrastructures, professional appliances, tracking and telematics, point-of-sale, and ticketing machines, building automation, and healthcare applications.
