QPA1315 RF Amplifier by Qorvo
The QPA1315 from Qorvo is a Power Amplifier MMIC that operates from 15.4 to 17.7 GHz. It delivers a saturated output power of 45 dBm (35 W) with a large signal gain of 25 dB and a power-added efficiency of 20%. This amplifier is fabricated on Qorvo’s production 0.15 um GaN on SiC process (QGaN15) and has a Cu base for superior thermal management. It requires a DC supply of 26 V and consumes 640 mA of current. This amplifier has on-chip blocking capacitors following the DC ground on the input and output ports. It is available in a 10-lead package that measures 15.2 x 15.2 x 3.5 mm and is ideal for communications and radar applications in both commercial and military markets.
